To support its core upstream activities, Matador also manages midstream operations. As of December 31, 2021, Matador Resources reported estimated total proved oil and natural gas reserves amounting to 323.4 million barrels of oil equivalent. Originally incorporated as Matador Holdco, Inc., the company officially adopted its current name, Matador Resources Company, in August 2011.
