Clearfield's comprehensive "fiber to anywhere" platform serves a broad spectrum of clients, from incumbent and competitive local exchange carriers, wireless operators, and multiple systems operators/cable TV companies, to utility/municipality entities, enterprises, and data centers. The company, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, operated as APA Enterprises, Inc. before officially changing its name to Clearfield, Inc. in January 2008.
