Marketing Manager
The product converts once people see it. Almost nobody sees it yet. This role owns everything between those two sentences: the channels, the words, the budget and the number at the end of the month.
About QFI Terminal
QFI Terminal is a financial terminal that runs in the browser. Stocks, options, crypto, macro, institutional filings and news, in one keyboard driven screen, for a fraction of what the professional terminals cost. There is a free plan and three paid plans, and almost everyone who buys does it alone, from the pricing page, without talking to anyone.
The role
You are the first person whose whole job is growth. There is no marketing team to inherit and no playbook to follow. There is a product people like once they find it, a small budget, and a set of channels that have each worked a little. Your job is to find out which ones can work a lot, and to prove it with numbers.
What you will own
The channels
- Search: our comparison pages, the features page and the content that brings investors to them.
- Social: Instagram, X and Reddit, where our audience already talks about markets.
- Creators: working with the partnerships seat on the finance creators who send us traffic.
- Email: launches, offers and the messages that bring a free user back.
The words
- Site copy, emails, launch posts and ad text. You write them yourself. This is not a role that briefs someone else to write.
- How we talk about the product everywhere, in plain language that does not sound like marketing.
The numbers
- Signups, free to paid conversion, cost per paying customer and how long a customer takes to pay that back.
- Paid campaigns that pay for themselves, and stopping the ones that do not, including the one you argued for.
Your first 90 days
- First month. Use the terminal every day. Read what users say in the chat, in reviews and in support. Map where our signups come from today and what each source costs.
- Second month. Pick the two channels you believe in most and run real tests on them, with a budget and a result you commit to before you start.
- Third month. Double down on what worked, stop what did not, and write a one page plan for the next quarter that someone who was not there can follow.
You would fit if
- You have grown a product to real revenue and can say which channel did it and what it cost.
- You write copy that does not sound like marketing, because this audience leaves the moment it does.
- You think in acquisition cost and payback, not in impressions.
- You do not need someone to tell you what to do next.
- You are fine with a small budget, because it is small.
Nice to have
- You trade or invest yourself. This audience can tell within a sentence whether you know markets.
- You have worked with finance creators or run an affiliate programme.
- You use AI tools every day and know when to check what they give you.
Working hours and location
Full time, remote and on your own hours. You need a few hours of overlap with European time. There is no daily standup and no status meeting, and nothing here is measured in hours logged. It is fine for an experiment to fail. It is not fine to keep paying for it.
Education and experience
No degree is required. What counts is a product you grew, the channel that did it, and what it cost to win a paying customer.
Pay
Talked about openly on the first call, in numbers, before anyone spends time on a process. It depends on your experience and where you live. We are independent and not funded by venture capital, so it is fair rather than extravagant, and we will not pretend otherwise. You also get an Ultimate account and a direct line to the founder.
How hiring works
Four steps, usually within two weeks. You write to us with whatever shows your work best. We have a call of about 45 minutes, where pay is discussed. You do a small, paid piece of real work from our backlog. Then you get a decision with a reason. You hear back either way. The careers page explains each step.
How to apply
Email us with "Marketing Manager" in the subject. Send something you made that worked, and tell us how you knew it worked. No cover letter and no form. Before you write, open the terminal and tell us one thing you would change about how we sell it.
